Provision of and acceptance by SDS Seminars of the details of appropriate professional indemnity insurance is a condition of acceptance on the course.

SDS Accreditation in Single Session Therapy (SST)

Foundation Stage, Level 1

Level 1 (Foundation Stage) is the level you obtain by attending the SST: Introductory Course (Min 1 full day) with SDS Seminars or any other organisations who commissioned this training directly from Professor Dryden.

This level gives you a Certificate of Attendance, and enables you to state in your CV that you have Level 1 (Foundation) in Single Session Therapy, and use SST Level 1 (Foundation) qualification in your title.

Without further training, your Level 1 certificate currently lasts for 3 years, after which you cannot make the above statement. However, continuing training in SST with SDS Seminars after the completion of your SST Introductory Course enables you to extend this accreditation beyond the initial expiration date. Should you let your accreditation lapse, you need to retake SST: Introductory Course.

SDS Accreditation, Level 2 (Assessed Academic Competence)

SDS Accreditation Level 2 (Assessed Academic Competence) means you have completed all the hours required by the CSST Part 1 and also passed the online exam.

This level of accreditation gives you a BPS Approved Certificate in SST (Part 1), and enables you to state in your CV that you have Level 2 (Assessed Academic Competence) Accreditation in SST qualification (SST AAC).

Your accreditation currently lasts for 3 years, after which you cannot make the above statement. This level of accreditation is renewable by continuing training in SST with SDS Seminars after the completion of your Certificate and attending SST monthly Tutorials.

SDS Accreditation, Level 3 (Assessed Competent Practitioner)

SDS Accreditation, Level 3 (Assessed Competent Practitioner) means you have completed all the hours required by CSST Part 1 and 2, and passed the online exam and practice observation (in Part 2 CSST).

This level of accreditation gives you a full BPS Approved Certificate in Single Session Therapy, and also enables you to state in your CV that you have Level 3 (Assessed Competent Practitioner) Accreditation and use SST ACP qualification in your title.

You will also be given an option to be listed in the SDS Register of SST Practitioners – our Network of Qualified SST Practitioners.

Your accreditation currently lasts for 5 years, after which you cannot make the above statements and access course resources. This level of accreditation is renewable by continuing training in SST with SDS Seminars after the completion of your Certificate via regular attendance of free monthly SST tutorials.

SDS Accreditation, Level 4 (Master Practitioner in SST, Proficiency)

SDS Accreditation, Level 4 (Master Practitioner in SST, Proficiency) is as Level 3, with the addition of a written statement from your SST Clinical Supervisor confirming the regularity and duration of your supervision with them (min 4 times per calendar year) and your Competence as a clinician practicing SST. Your SST Clinical Supervisor should meet our qualification criteria. The purpose of this statement is to confirm your clinical Competence as a SST practitioner and to ensure that your practice is regularly supervised and meets required standards.

This level of accreditation enables you to state in your CV that you have Level 4 (Proficiency) Accreditation as a Master Practitioner in SST and use MPSST-P qualification in your title.

You will also be given an option to be listed in the SDS Register of SST Practitioners – our Network of Qualified SST Practitioners.

This level of accreditation can be confirmed by annual submission of the aforementioned statement of your SST Supervisor.
