CFT, developed by Professor Paul Gilbert, is an evidence-based approach rooted in evolutionary psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive behavioural principles. It is particularly relevant for clients who struggle with high levels of self-criticism, trauma, or difficulties in feeling safe or soothed.
Through practical exercises, clinical examples, and guided discussion, participants will learn how to apply CFT techniques to support clients in cultivating self-compassion and building emotional resilience.
