Alison Larkin in The Times
Alison Larkin is an English American comedian, novelist, actress, and a prolific audiobook narrator. Her bestselling autobiographical novel The English American about an English woman finding her birth mother in the United States was a Vogue Most Powerful Book of the Season. The audiobooks won her the first of 17 AudioFile Earphones awards for excellence in audiobook narration. Since then, Alison has recorded over 200 audiobooks including The Complete Novels of Jane Austen and Julia B. Grantham's book A Mole Like No Other.
