Lisa Anderson
Biography
Lisa Anderson is an HCPC registered Consultant Forensic and Clinical Psychologist and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with BABCP with over 18 years’ experience as a clinician and an academic. She works within child mental health and adult services, where I have provided assessment, interventions, and supervision in both the NHS and private sector. She works with children, adolescents, adults, young offenders, looked after children, homeless and asylum seekers. She also provides an embedded psychological service to children homes and schools. I provide medico-legal reports for injury claims, care orders and mental health reviews.
She lectures in Psychology for the University of Leicester and manages the multi-agency training service in child mental health across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. She is responsible for training 600-900 primary care staff per year for over 12 years and teaching postgraduate students.
She provides consultancy on training and CBT to many statutory and voluntary agencies and have been actively involvement in local Talking Therapies development. She is an associate Lecturer for University of Derby on the Child and Young People Talking Therapies course. She has recently developed a training package for schools in Yorkshire and is a national trainer in child mental health, working closely with Universities and local councils developing and running CPD workshops.
