A three-hours masterclass with Professor Nuno Ferreira on using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for managing chronic pain.

This masterclass will explore how the ACT model for chronic pain differs from contemporary models of chronic pain, and how it expands our understanding of these conditions.

The masterclass will focus on interview and formulation techniques that are ACT consistent and that can be easily integrated in your current practice. The evidence base and characteristics of ACT based interventions for chronic pain will also be addressed.

Suitable for both practitioners who use ACT with their clients on a regular basis and to those for whom this modality is less familiar.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this masterclass you should:

  2. Be confident in the use of key intervention techniques using the ACT model for chronic pain
