An intensive course designed for those who wish to support the parents of autistic children and adolescents. The course is marked by two unusual factors. Firstly, course content is dictated first and foremost by common parental concerns identified by the National Autistic Society and other service user support and lobbying groups. Secondly, the content is presented as part of a structured 8 session group for parents which is practical, skills based and psychoeducational in nature.
